Daisy Darling Atelier was inspired by an enduring love of antique textiles and pattern. Founded by Clare Powell, a designer and milliner with two decades of experience working with vintage fabric, Daisy Darling Atelier brings you an ever-changing collection of fabrics imbued with a sense of early twentieth century joie de vivre. Each design comes in a variation of fabric choices and pattern scale meaning you can commission a bespoke piece tailored to your needs, whether its intended use is for fashion or interiors.

As well as fabrics you can also order beautiful satin ribbons in a variety of widths.

Over the years Clare has curated an archive of antique fabrics and fabric covered boxes (or boudoir boxes as they are sometimes known) from brocantes in France as well as from dealers here in the UK. This archive composed of many truly beautiful and unique pieces is the inspiration for the Daisy Darling Atelier textile collection.

Clare has always had a passion for decorative design. From an early age she spent many a weekend searching for treasure with her mother at antique fairs and learning about periods and styles. During the last thirty years she has trained in silversmithing and millinery, taught Art and Design and dealt in vintage textiles. Clare has also been fortunate to work with some of Britain’s finest antique fabric dealers at the Vintage Bazaar event that she runs. All these experiences have helped Clare to develop an intuitive understanding of colour and shape.
